General Purpose GUI

I had seen two different GUI systems implemented in Monkey and several in BlitzMax. As impressive as some in BlitzMax were, they weren’t always easy. And as far as Monkey goes, the only one that has provided source code is not ready. So I opted out of all of them to just create my own general purpose GUI. Then create the classes to parse it. When finished, it should have the ability to be parsed in any language of choice.

To show a preview (and show off my photoshop and programming skills)

Edit 8/9/2011: I’ve not come up with an easy to parse language yet. I was thinking XML, but I’ll really need to figure out a proper way to structure it. For now it’s looking like the .NET way of GUI handling.
